Jiminny’s Need
A year on from closing a £13.5 million Series A, Jiminny had a marketing team in place, but lacked the right marketing leader for their growth ambitions. In particular, Jiminny wanted a marketing leader to sustainably grow its pipeline, create a more predictable demand gen machine (with a focus on inbound demand generation), devise compelling messaging for its ICP and develop the existing marketing team into a high-performing function through coaching and hiring.
Jiminny set their sights on a Marketing Director that had previously operated at their stage of business and could hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding. After speaking to standard recruiters, Jiminny realised ScaleWise’s unique hiring approach was best suited to their needs.

ScaleWise matched Jiminny with an experienced SaaS CMO to lead their recruitment effort, who understood exactly what they needed. The SaaS CMO worked closely with ScaleWise’s internal hiring specialists and Jiminny’s leadership to define what good looked like in the role, and devise a comprehensive candidate brief, which pinpointed the specific responsibilities and expectations of the role, as well as the essential and ideal candidate profile.

ScaleWise provided guidance throughout the hiring process – including role responsibilities, personality attributes, salaries and compensation – to ensure that the full-time hire was not just the right fit today, but would grow with Jiminny too.
